Born in to an era of activism, Altamont and mind-expanding drugs, Ouellette’s youth was a mixture of old-world values and new world sexual intellect. And while the visual indulgence of Catholic church lasted only a brief period, it left him notably scarred. He began drawing as a child. He found he could easily entertain classmates with his drawings of grotesque prostitutes rendered nude but for their high-top sneakers. Escher, Dali and Moebius books were always close at hand. Abssurdist/surrealist Super-8 filmmaking paralleled his constant illustration efforts. A wealth of cultural diversity in combination with extensive hallucinogenic drug use and confused sexual deviation began to transform his disparate artistic experiments into a protracted a demanding lifestyle of self-expression. He grew to adore the cinema of Fellini and marveled at Lynch’s “Eraserhead” and Cronenbeg’s “Vedeodrome.” So, rather than pursue a formal “education in the fine arts, he chose to learn the tools of filmmaking.

After college, he became a production designer working on feature films in New York City. He has designed over fifteen independent feature films in the past decade as well as numerous commercials and music videos. He has written many feature film screenplays and continues to write regularly and develop ongoing film projects.

His drawings were published in the Japanese anthology book BioMannerism alongside established elders, Giger, Beksinski, and Poumeyral. He was published via an Italian publisher with contemporaries Todd Schorr, Joe Sorren and Eric White in a book entitled Mutant Kiddies. He is also due to be published in an extensive new book entitled Eyes of the Soul alongside artists such as Ernst Fuchs and Alex Grey. He has been featured in numerous magazine.s His most recent exhibition of drawings was in Zurich at The Museum of Porn in Art.

He is not happy living in America and is hoping he can soon leave this horrid hypocritical country with its counstantly erect puritanical weaponry, but until that is actually feasible, he will remain sequestered away from the impertinent stupidity of the greater percentage of the American population by hiding out in NYC wondering how it is possible, according to a recent gallup poll, that 48% of Americans actually believe in creationism, 68% believe in the devil and 77% believe in angels. He fears the mutant illiteracy of all those proud ignorant US citizens.
