The Straynge family photo collection is an extraordinary assortment of over 500 peculiar and historical photographic portraits of members of this specific American family who has been cursed by a vengeful witch in 1692 during the Salem Witch Trials. The last surviving member of the Straynge Family, Ruth Straynge, bequeathed the collection of photos to her distant relative, Sir William Welles, shortly after her demise in 2005. French born Sir William, better known to the Goth community as the creator of New Goth City (www.NewGothCity.com), has spent the past few years cataloguing, digitizing, and exhibiting these rare photos in accordance with his Great-Aunt’s dying wish of lifting the shameful and secretive veil that has hung over this family’s plight for so many years. It has been rumored, however, that by taking even a simple glimpse of a Straynge Family photograph will doom you to a fate of suicide, murder, or complete insanity! To date, the authorities have yet to come up with proof to support this rumor.
